Infradox File Connector S3 support

The Infradox File Connector now has support for high res video storage on Amazon’s S3 remote (near-line) storage. High resolution files can be ordered and downloaded as usual with the functions offered by Infradox picture library websites. Low resolution video files remain available for immediate download from local on-line storage – including ZIP downloads. Contact Xpertise-ICT for further information.

Infradox back office version 21

We have released version 21 of Infradox back office. The changes only affect users of Infradox AS.

  • This version fixes an order details display bug in the order management view which occurred after changing the order status
  • The gallery manager now has support for remote files that can be accessed with third party API’s only
  • The file rearrange window now displays icons on top of the thumbnails so that you can change the “index thumbnail” of a gallery from within that window

HTTP upload for arcangel-images

In addition to the standard FTP upload services with hot folder processing, the arcangel-images.com website now offers photographers a HTTP batch upload function – straight from the web site. This function requires no other tools than a normal web browser. Embedded meta data (XMP, IPTC) is of course automatically extracted, inserted into the database and indexed as part of the standard ingestion process. Each photographer can also amend the meta data of his/her files online after upload. For further information about HTTP batch upload, please contact Xpertise.

Infradox partner API version 12

Version 12 of the Infradox partner API has been completely rewritten and is now available for use. This version offers a huge increase in search performance and its use is more flexible without the need for template customization. Version 12 enables you to specify which elements you want to retrieve in the XML results. You can now retrieve up to 100,000 keys with a single call. Previous versions of the Infradox partner API are still supported as the use of version 12 may require software changes by third parties if they want to make optimal use of the new possibilities.

Dynamically generated PDF’s for photo stories on panos.co.uk

Panos have added a new function to their web site that allows their clients to download PDF’s of their photo stories. The files are dynamically created by use of a PDF template and the latest Infradox software.

New Infradox AS including support for Corbis

Xpertise-ICT BV are happy to announce Infradox AS. Our new web server software allows you to add live connections to your partner’s API’s so that you can now search and sell their files without the need to have those files on your own servers. Infradox AS uses our new API Broker software that currently has support for a number of third party API’s built-in, including Corbis Images. Support for additional API’s can be added as required.
